Abstract Sunset 1 Handcrafted Wooden Bookmark with Chain Tassel

I designed this bookmark with sunsets in mind. It has a sturdy metal eyelet holding a tassel made from a stainless steel necklace chain, accented with bead work that reflects the colors of a sunset. Each tassel is unique to its color and design (the American Walnut has a bell on the end). I stained the wood in different tones because I like the variety of tones and wood grain highlights, but I also kept an option in natural basswood. A gloss coat gives it a smooth, polished finish.
