Ocean Sunset Wooden Bookmark with Beaded Chain Tassel

This is a handmade bookmark I cut from a sheet of basswood and designed with sunsets in mind.

It has a sturdy metal eyelet holding a tassel made from a stainless steel necklace chain, accented with bead work that reflects the colors of a sunset. Each tassel is unique to its color and design. 

I stained the wood in different tones for a variety of color and wood grain highlights, but I also kept an option in natural basswood. A polycrylic gloss coat gives it a smooth, polished finish.
