Sunrise Wood & Resin Bookmark - Failed Walnut

I designed and cut this bookmark with sunrises in mind. It has a simple natural hemp string tassel, leaving you with the option of adding any tassel you would like. I stained the wood in different tones for the variety of color and wood grain highlights, but I also kept an option in natural basswood.

A gloss coat gives it a smooth, polished finish, however, this is one of my first attempts at making the color version, so both will live here in my Failed Art collection at a discounted price for the excuses below:

The walnut bookmark is thicker than I had planned, but the edged are rounded and smooth so they won't crease your pages, and there's a little scratch on one side.
