Failed Art Collection: I didn't seal the wood properly inside the eyelet hole, so a bubble formed in from the eyelet in the shape of a teardrop, forever cementing my sadness and frustration in time. 

I made this bookmark to look like part of a sun setting, starting from the bottom left corner and radiating into the top right corner. It has a simple natural blue hemp string tassel, leaving you with the option of adding any tassel you would like. 

I cut the bookmarks from basswood sheets and stain them in different wood tones for a variety of color and grain highlights. I fill the designs with colorful UV resin, then give them a final clear coat of resin so they're extra sleek and robust. They have a simple blue hemp string tassel, leaving you with the option of adding any tassel if you would like.
